Honda will be going all in on electrification, and it will all start the impressive new 2024 Honda Prologue, a fully electric sport utility vehicle will be arriving on the market next year as a 2024 model.

Honda will be launching the first phase of its electrification strategy with the introduction of the Prologue. Following the arrival of its new sport utility vehicle, Honda will be introducing multiple new electrified vehicles including hybrid versions of the Honda Civic and Honda CR-V. Honda will also be introducing a brand-new platform that will serve as the basis for its upcoming EV models. The Japanese automaker has set a bold objective of selling 500,000 electrified vehicles by 2030.

This first image of the Prologue shows us where Honda is going with its future electric vehicles. The Prologue will offer the versatility and refinement of Honda SUVs along with a fully electric powertrain. We can't wait to see the other electric vehicles that Honda has in store.

“The Prologue is Honda’s first electric vehicle in Canada and is the result of a strategic North American plan announced 2 years ago that includes a collaboration with GM to produce EVs in a more efficient manner,” said Steve Hui, Vice President, Honda Canada. “The Prologue signifies our transition to electrification, with more Honda engineered and manufactured EVs in North America coming in 2026. Our Canadian dealers are excited to see it come to their showrooms.”
