The all-new 2023 Honda HR-V unveiled earlier this week is the next generation of Honda's popular entry-level SUV. Improved in every way and redesigned from the ground up, the HR-V promises to stand out in terms of both versatility and performance.
Honda engineers wanted to give the new HR-V 2023 a sportier personality and the designers followed suit with a more dynamic style. The Honda HR-V 2023 is lower, wider and sleeker than the model it replaces. It is also longer, and its wheelbase has been improved to offer even more interior space.
Space is the number one selling point of the Honda HR-V and it will have even more space in the next generation. The 2023 HR-V will retain the versatility of the current model while adding headroom and legroom to the interior.
Earlier this week, Honda showed us an image of the interior, specifically the cargo area as well as the center console. We can see that the next-generation HR-V will be just as accommodating as the current model, if not more so.
"By gaining aspirational qualities beyond its segment, the all-new 2023 Honda HR-V will welcome a new generation of customers to Honda and grow in importance as a gateway to the Honda brand," said Michael Kistemaker, assistant vice president of Automobile Sales of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "This new HR-V will advance its position as the segment leader with young buyers, first-time buyers, and multicultural customers."
Honda didn't offer more information on the powertrain or show images of the interior, but that should be forthcoming.
